2000 Feb 1 (Tue), 16:45 Hello. Well, Y2K has come and gone and I hope ya'll are feeling fine and computing with ease . . I'd like to report a few new band changes this year . . . We, Rick Steven's and myself, finally found and auditioned and broke-in a great new Rebel's Secret drummer, J.P. Evans. He's a degreed musician from UNT at Denton and runs a dog obstacle training farm just outside of McKinney with his wife Elizabeth who's a statistician for the CIA. J.P. and his wife are really in to dogs. So this guy fits in real well with the rest of us hillbillies who generally prefer to sleep with dogs, especially on cold winter nights. Come back soon to this site to see some new pictures of our new Lab pup named - "Streak of Abe's Pretty Boy Obie". This chewing little hell dog was born on my Dad's birthday Sept 30th, so we named the dog after him: Obie.
On Saturday January 29th . . . we just played our first show down in Duncanville at the Holiday Inn at the TEXAS TUX and we had a great time and the band was excellent. The renowned B3 player and cooperate whiz kid, Wayne-T-Bone was on organ and piano lowering the sonic boom on the his instrument . . . while blues giant Scott "Choo Choo" Folger smoked some mean blues licks too boot . . . but later it was rumored that Scott lost his biker jacket when three young Mexican girls overwhelmed him in the parking lot after the show trying to strip his clothes from him. Scott is such a stud!!!! Dan Hodan, an uno Tornado Brother was also along for the ride and performed on banjo and guitar. It was his girl friend's birthday and they were having a helluva party!!!! Happy birthday??????!! Dan H. also gave Billy some supporting vocals. He also did a killer version of a Sam Meyers tune. Sorry I don't remember which one but well do it again next time . . . Also rounding out the line-up was David Micro-Man on viola . . . he always gives Rebel's Secret that classical touch which is heavenly at times. Of course Rick "Pass Me By" Stevens was jamming on bass and I was blowin' some harp & belting out tunes. It was a great night with some of Miss Debbie's Presby crew out and about and I must say that our friend Jim has a quite a way with the ladies . . . go Jim!!!! . Also Rick's girl friend was taking up the door and selling CD'sthank you Annie . . . Miss Debbie, David Micro-Man & I stayed up quite late that night drinkin' and chatting in our hotel room about the real future of E-commerce and PDA's, Personal Digital Assistants (Do micro-integrated computer chip dildo's qualify as PDA's? That's the real question HERE? Just let BR ask the hard questions! ) Have a great February and come see us soon in Feb on the 19th at the Texas Tux in Duncanville, TEXAS.
ThanxBR

Joke of the month submitted by Solotheman - Memphis, Tenn:
A woman came home just in time to find her husband in bed with another woman. With superhuman strength borne of fury, she dragged her husband down the stairs to the garage and put his penis in a vise. She then secured it tightly and removed the handle. Next she picked up a hacksaw. The husband terrified, screamed, "Stop! Stop! You're not going to . . . to . . . cut it off are you?!" The wife, with a gleam of revenge in her eye, said, "Nope. you are. I'm going to set the garage on fire!".
If you've got some gossip its no good if you're the only one who knows about it . . .
Yours not so truly . . . Billy Rawlett
